Note on Section 4: Interestingly, nobody has ever commented upon the fact that this section was published without context numbers: perhaps an indication of how closely such sections are examined? It is in fact the south section of one of the putative archaeological trenches which happened to be situated over the line of the backfilled early ditch - hence the evident slumping in the fills.
